about

Heya! Call me Luna (she/her)! This is a secondary blog I made for yumejo and self-indulgent stuff. I love self-shipping and think it’s really fun, and I’ve been doing it for ages. It’s gotten me through a lot of rough stuff too.I’m not comfortable sharing that much about myself personally. A couple things though:I am over 30. So I’m sorry, but I’m not really comfortable interacting with minors on this account. I won't actively follow anyone under like 20 or so.
(If you were also born in the early 90's or earlier; hi!!! Hello!!! 🤗)
I have a job. A lot of the time, I'm too exhausted to be very active on here. If I don't respond to you quickly, this and my weak social battery are likely why.Sharing is generally ok with me, unless it's my main F/O (Shin Tsukimi from Your Turn to Die). I have other kind of fringe F/Os that I mention less often (until the mood strikes), but Shin is like 99% of my focus. If you're not ok with sharing, I double and triple check before following! I do also have tags for each f/o, they are noted in my f/o list.I block extremely liberally. It's nothing personal, I'm just allowing myself to be really really picky about the content I see on this blog and the content I interact with. But in particular, if you have threats or judgement in your DNI/bio/pinned/wherever, I block it on sight. If you think harassment is something that can ever be justified, or if you think someone's taste in fiction has any bearing whatsoever on their moral integrity and beliefs, I don't want that kind of attitude near me.That being said, I may not follow back if you post a ton of discourse even if I do agree with you. I just don't have the energy for it, sorry. If you know me from my main account, shush, please.Anyway, I think that’s all for now. Thanks, and have a great day!

fictional others

Generally, I only ever have one main f/o that takes up all my focus, for months or even years at a time. No judgement if you're the other way around! This is just how I am.Like I mentioned on my about page, I'm ok with sharing any of my secondary f/os, but I'm not comfortable sharing Shin.

Shin Tsukimi

Origin: Your Turn To DieHe deserves good things and to be warm and happy.

My main F/O is Shin Tsukimi from the PC game Your Turn to Die. I love him very, very much… 🥺💕Just using his name is a spoiler for the game, since he goes by an alias; in general, this is not a spoiler-free blog. I try to hold myself back from spoiling the whole game, but if I do happen to mention or reblog major spoilers for the game (other than his name… and relation to Kanna) I’ll use the tag
; yttd spoilers”. Feel free to blacklist it.
I’m not comfortable with doubles (for him only); I am okay with some x canon ships involving him. The main exception is I’m not okay with shipping him with Hiyori/Midori; please do not discuss that ship with me in a positive light, I’m not kidding.I'm uncomfortable with people who headcanon or refer to Shin as gay as well. Fine if that's what you want to do, but it isn't canon and would make us incompatible. So please respect that.Kanna Kizuchi is my familial F/O! My baby sister through Shin. I adore her!

Secondary F/Os —

While not main F/Os, these characters are still special to me! They won't get mentioned as much or perhaps even at all on this blog. But they still give me warm fuzzies. 🥰Rather than list absolutely everyone I have/had feelings for, these are the ones I think about most. So some will get removed/re-added occasionally! The emojis in the tags are comprised of one for the f/o and one for my s/i, so if you're looking to block any talk at all of a certain f/o on this list I recommend blocking the first emoji in their tag too (for instance, if blocking Astarion talk from my blog, block ";🗡️" as well as ";🗡️🎻".) The f/o emoji always comes first in order.By the way, they're listed in roughly chronological order from latest to oldest.(Someday I'll make a list that is absolutely everyone. Someday.)

🧣 Shin and emmy 🌻

aka "Shimmy" 😚

Our ship exists in a few separate "verses"; a main one and a handful of aus.I'll likely add to this more later as ideas become more fleshed out! Here's what I have so far.

— Main Verse —

This verse is my "canon" with Shin and I, and the one I refer to most when I talk about us.In this verse, Shin lives with his parents as an only child and does not know Kanna, who was raised with the Kizuchis. As well, I tend to agree with this headcanon timeline of birthdays/events (some spoilers for YTTD in the link), so Shin is two and a half years younger than Emmy. The death game does not/did not occur in this timeline.Emmy works at a general arts and crafts store. A few months into her job, Shin was hired as well.Generally they were on opposite schedules, with Shin working nights and Emmy working mornings, except for an all-nighter shift shared once a week when new products have to be unloaded. They bonded quickly over a similar sense of humor and exhausted solidarity over working a retail job. Both of them are in general a bit lonely, and a friendship sparked that carried them both through rougher days.Shin was not a great worker when he started. Not that he never tried, but he was less concerned at leaving things half-done, or sorting things half-heartedly. At first Emmy was a little frustrated with him and his carelessness while working, but as they started to become friends (and she complained about the slack she constantly had to pick up on co-workers' behalfs), he made an effort to start lightening the load a bit more for her.In turn, it was Emmy he normally went to when he had questions or was unsure about something. When their schedules happened to overlap, both of them seemed to enjoy their time there a bit more. Emmy helped him with heavy lifting and her knowledge of what went where in the store, and Shin helped her with the more computer-oriented aspects, like label printing and managing the online orders. They quickly became a good team.Shin would usually back out of a job within a year at most, often within a few months, but this time he found himself wanting to stick around, maybe just a little while longer. As for why he changed his schedule availability to work mornings with her instead, well, that was a coincidence. It was just because there were typically less customers in the morning, and customers were a pain to deal with. That's all.Their crushes were mutual almost from the start, and in both cases, those feelings snuck up on them. For a few months they both pined quietly, stealing lingering glances or touches, laughing too much at each others' bad jokes, buying lunch for each other on their breaks. Neither of them believed their feelings could be reciprocated, blinded instead by self-doubt and worry for a good friendship ending badly if anything did happen. It was around Emmy's birthday that Shin finally decided he had to bite the bullet. These feelings weren't going away, but he couldn't just say something to her, how awkward would that be? What if she just impulsively said yes to spare his feelings and regretted it immediately? Emmy was kind, and naive like that. Better, he thought, to just write it out or something. So Shin wrote out a letter—it got way too long, he thought, and so much was scratched out and then crumpled from days of him keeping it in his pocket while he worked up the courage to actually deliver it, but oh, well—and about a week after writing it, after his shift he finally slipped it into Emmy's locker for her to decide what to do with.If she didn't feel the same way, then oh, well. He'd been at this job long enough, and if she hated him now, it was going to start sucking, so he could just quit and move on. Again. He was used to being alone, to unreciprocated feelings. No big deal.He hadn't expected her to come running after him that same day, to catch him at the bus stop and excitedly ask him when he wanted their first date to be.
